Schmitty & Sons is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our team at our Burnsville location. This role is essential to keeping our fleet operating efficiently by managing parts inventory and supporting maintenance operations.

• Order, receive, and manage parts inventory for:
• School buses
• Transit buses
• Mini vans
• Other fleet vehicles
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels
• Work closely with maintenance staff to identify parts needs
• Source parts from vendors and negotiate pricing when appropriate
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Organize and maintain a clean and efficient parts room
• Assist with other operational tasks as needed

• Support transportation operations during driver shortages or peak times

• Previous experience in parts management, inventory control, or automotive/heavy-duty parts preferred
• Knowledge of bus or commercial vehicle parts is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement (or already have one)
