Truck Driver – CDL A (Home Daily, Casual) – Burnsville, MN

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver for a casual Home Daily position at Ryder System in Burnsville, MN.

Pay: $360.50+ per week, plus solo miles ($0.70 per mile with 215 miles per week on average) and solo stops ($35.00 per stop with 6 stops per week). Paid training is included.

Schedule:

Saturday; occasionally during the week, start time 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Pass Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months in the past three years, or 2 years in the past five years, or 5 years in the past ten years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
• Additional screening may be required by the customer (employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, badging, background).

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
