Responsibilities The primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care, handling patient registration, scheduling appointments, and performing various office-related tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS CPR by the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, or one year of Medical Assistant work experience can substitute for completion of an accredited program.

Credentials Must obtain one of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• National Health career Association (NHA)

Compensation Pay Range: $20.05 - $26.81 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparison to similar roles.
