Finkbiner Equipment Company is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Burr Ridge Service Department. This role oversees all shop and field service operations, drives departmental performance, and ensures exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Provide leadership and direction to achieve optimal customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and profitability.
• Oversee shop and field operations, workflow, safety, and service quality.
• Manage the Service Department P&L and work in progress (WIP).
• Support complex job quotes and resolve escalated customer concerns.
• Ensure proper machine repair, inspections, and equipment prep for Sales/Rental.
• In coordination with the Assistant Service Manager, conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and internal departments.

• 3–5 years of shop management experience.
• Strong knowledge of heavy/mining equipment, engines, and components.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.

Travel: Up to 25%
