Position Overview

We’re seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our team and ensure smooth operations across driver onboarding, training, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential to maintaining our FMCSA/DOT standards and supporting our drivers in the field.

• Oversee driver onboarding, training, and safety orientations
• Monitor ELD logs, hours-of-service compliance, and CSA scores
• Assist with DOT audits, roadside inspections, and recordkeeping
• Manage permits, insurance certificates, and licensing requirements
• Investigate and process accidents, incidents, and claims
• Track and report safety metrics to leadership
• Maintain accurate compliance files, policies, and procedures
• Provide ongoing safety communication, coaching, and support to drivers

• Working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and safety requirements
• Experience with accident/incident reporting and claims handling
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with ELDs, transportation management systems, and reporting tools
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Prior transportation/trucking safety experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
