Job Summary:
Briarwood Nursing and Rehab is seeking caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents and patients. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall well-being of our residents. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities on afternoon shifts, with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment throughout scheduled shifts
Help residents with personal hygiene and personal care
Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
Document food and fluid intake
Assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
Maintain a clean and tidy living environment
Transport residents within the facility
Assist nurses and other staff as needed
Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
Current and valid CNA certification
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good collaboration and teamwork skills
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Keen attention to detail
In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
