The Business Development Associate – Automotive TIC Services supports revenue growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and assisting in the sale of testing, inspection, certification, and engineering services within the automotive and mobility sectors.
This role works closely with sales leadership, laboratory operations, and technical teams to support customer engagement activities, generate leads, coordinate proposals, and maintain strong client relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, EV manufacturers, and mobility technology companies.
Key Responsibilities- Support business development and sales activities for automotive TIC services
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, networking, and outbound outreach
- Assist in developing proposals, quotations, presentations, and customer communications
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and industry partners
- Coordinate meetings, customer visits, and follow up activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain and update CRM systems, sales pipelines, and account activity records
- Support strategic account growth initiatives and customer retention efforts
- Collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to understand customer requirements and service capabilities
- Regulatory compliance and certification
- Connected technologies and cybersecurity testing
- Monitor automotive industry trends, market activity, and competitor developments
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or technical services preferred
- Interest in automotive, mobility, engineering, or testing services industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
- Organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and industry events
