The Senior Accountant at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries (“Kolmac” or the “Company”) will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Your expertise will play a role in supporting financial decision‑making and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Pay Range: Up to $90,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee and execute complex accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end close, ensuring timely and accurate completion within 5–7 business days.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, providing actionable insights to support executive decision‑making and long‑term planning.
- Coordinate and prepare detailed journal entries, reconciliations, and support schedules per GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily/weekly cash flow activities, ensuring liquidity and risk management oversight.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecast models, and variance analyses to support financial performance monitoring and planning.
- Serve as a key liaison during internal and external audits; prepare documentation, respond to audit inquiries, and ensure audit readiness year‑round.
- Compute and review tax filings, maintain tax compliance records, and support external tax consultants with financial data and analysis.
- Manage capital expenditures, the fixed asset subledger, depreciation, and asset disposals.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls, automate accounting workflows, and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, expense trends, and profitability to support cross‑functional initiatives and cost optimization efforts.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Maintain advanced proficiency in financial systems, particularly Sage Intacct, and support system enhancements and data integrity efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.

- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required;
Master’s degree preferred. - CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or advanced role within a Public Accounting Firm or Corporate Finance environment.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and modeling techniques).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare or regulated industry is a strong plus.
