The Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.) is a national leader in mental health services for the adoption, foster, and kinship care community. For over 25 years, C.A.S.E. has combined best practices and innovation to provide specialized individual and family therapy, psychiatric services and support groups, education, and training. We have become a local, national, and international resource for adoptive, kinship, and foster families and the professionals who support them. C.A.S.E. set out in 2021 on a new strategic direction to grow our clinical and training programs into our Academy for Elevating Clinical Practice in Permanency.

C.A.S.E has an annual budget of $14M and a staff of 70+ employees.

C.A.S.E. is seeking a Director of IT who can both lead and execute. This is not a traditional help desk management position and not a purely strategic advisory role. The successful candidate will be a practical, hands-on technology leader who can evaluate existing roadmap and current-state work, refine priorities, and move the organization into disciplined execution. As the Director of IT, you will serve as C.A.S.E.’s internal technology leader and builder.

You will review the existing IT roadmap, current-state mapping, system inventories, vendor assessments, and previously identified operational issues; determine what still fits, what needs to be updated, and what should be prioritized; and then translate that work into a practical, budget-aligned IT program. This role requires someone who can address immediate operational needs while also building the systems, governance, workflows, training, and vendor structures needed to support C.A.S.E.’s long-term growth.

The Director of IT will lead priority work in CRM modernization, cybersecurity, IT governance, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 modernization, staff training, technology-enabled workflow improvement, and responsible use of vendors and lightweight software tools. The ideal candidate is a builder/operator who is strategic enough to refine the roadmap, practical enough to execute it, and disciplined enough to align technology investments with C.A.S.E.’s mission, budget, staff capacity, and organizational readiness.

• Serve as C.A.S.E.’s accountable internal IT leader, combining strategic planning with hands-on execution to strengthen day-to-day operations and build a sustainable IT program over time.
• Review existing IT roadmap materials, current-state mapping, system inventories, vendor assessments, and previously identified operational issues; validate what remains accurate and update priorities based on current needs, risks, budget, and capacity.
