Installation Engineer

Xpert Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Installation Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company specialising in the installation of high quality industrial and commercial door systems.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing training, and long-term career progression.

Duties will include:

Installing a range of industrial and commercial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, steel doors, and fire doors

Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and replacement of door systems where required

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans

Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales

Using power tools and specialist equipment safely and effectively

Completing site paperwork and installation reports accurately

Providing excellent customer service while working on client sites

Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Following all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations

Travelling to customer sites across the region with occasional overnight stays if required

Skills/Experience

Previous experience installing industrial, commercial, or automatic doors

Mechanical or electrical installation experience would be advantageous

Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK Driving Licence

CSCS Card desirable but not essential

IPAF or PASMA certification would be advantageous

Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday

40 hours per week with overtime available
