Scheduler – Butler, NJ

PCM Company, a well‑established professional construction consulting firm founded in 1995, seeks a seasoned Construction Scheduler to join our team. PCM specializes in construction cost estimation, CPM scheduling, and a variety of project support services across diverse sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Transportation, Government, Municipal, Retail, and Hospitality.

In this role you will oversee all aspects of project scheduling, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of construction projects. You will collaborate closely with principals/owners, estimators, assistant estimators, support staff, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain accurate schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules, incorporating all activities, milestones, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to gather input and update schedules
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments to minimize delays and maintain timelines
  • Identify and communicate potential scheduling conflicts or issues and provide recommended solutions
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, schedule updates, and forecasts to management and clients
  • Utilize scheduling software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project
  • Apply knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and labor to create precise and comprehensive schedules
  • Assemble detailed and accurate project schedules with varying levels of information
Qualifications
  • Experience working on US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera, and Microsoft Project
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with clients
  • Team‑orientated and self‑motivated with strong deadline and detail orientation
