First Environment, Inc., a leading environmental consulting services company that provides strategic litigation and environmental/engineering services throughout the U.S., has a challenging career opportunity in their Northern New Jersey Headquarters for a Senior Engineer.

• Conduct technical and historical research in support of environmental contamination, toxic tort, and natural resource damage litigation
• Review and analyze technical papers and reports
• Review and analyze pleadings, deposition transcripts and document discovery
• Prepare expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony
• Communicate with clients and counsel

• Master’s Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• 10+ years relevant experience
• Experience with per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances
• Understanding of basic sciences such as chemistry, geology and biology
• Understanding of site remediation technical and regulatory processes
• GIS skills a plus
• Competency in Microsoft Office and litigation support software applications
• Team player with a high degree of self-motivation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
