Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Teacher Aide in the Butler area.

Position Summary:

The Teacher Aide provides a high quality of care to enrolled children. Ensures the needs of the children are being met and assists in the implementation and direction of daily routines and activities.

This part-time position works Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

* Candidate shall meet one of the following criteria:

* Possession of a Child Development Associate's (CDA) certificate

* Completion of at least 2 years of full-time postsecondary study (60 credits) in a related field

* Possession of an associate's degree or higher

* Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks

* Possess strong communications skills (verbal and written); able to communicate information to a diverse audience

Preferred:

* One or more years' experience teaching in an integrated classroom setting

* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education

* Private Academic Teacher Certification in Nursery/Kinder
