Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Assist Store Manager with managing Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, dairy, frozen food, bread, and bakery products.;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels and assist with inventory management and pricing standards.;
Train assigned associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of perishable products.;
Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences; ensure sanitation and safety standards.;
Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with customers to understand merchandise expectations.
