Pay range: $19.95 per hour (per Collective Bargaining Agreement--CBA). $1.00 per hour Shift Premium (per CBA). Three potential step increases with performance progression. Annual pay increases in May of each year subject to the CBA.

The Mobile Dispatcher works in a Control Center environment, responding to customer inquiries and technician requests primarily through phone interactions. The role assesses and schedules technician workload for natural gas and electric service work and monitors radio traffic to dispatch service personnel.

Job Responsibilities- Assure cost-effective use of resources by communicating and coordinating with Distribution Operation and other stakeholders.
- Create, manage, and modify gas and electric service orders.
- Demonstrate proficiency with computer software and web applications for dispatching processes.
- Perform required shift work, including days, weekends, nights, holidays, and call-outs.
- Work rotating 12‑hour shifts starting at 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM with schedule posted six months in advance.
- Overtime work including evenings and weekends in response to acute service needs.
- Maintain positive working relationships within the control room and with internal partners.
- Complete required trainings and monthly meetings.
- Dispatcher calls are monitored with a priority goal of achieving customer satisfaction.
- Work effectively within a team environment to accomplish organizational goals.
- Show strong adherence to accuracy, safety practices, customer service, and attendance.
- Job time is spent mainly in an office environment, mostly sitting or standing, using a computer terminal and phones with limited walking.
- All employees must adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics.
- Ensure all actions align with the company’s values, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Good safety record.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Proficient with computers, web applications, and related equipment.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Good organizational and technical skills necessary.
- Ability to plan and prioritize dispatching responsibilities.
- High‑volume dispatching and customer service experience preferred.
