As a Head Start Teacher, you'll inspire curiosity, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful learning experiences that help children discover their potential. You'll build trusting relationships with children and families while creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children can learn through exploration and play.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Foster school readiness and kindergarten readiness.
- Build positive partnerships with families.
- Observe progress and individualize instruction.
- Collaborate with your teaching team to meet Head Start Performance Standards.
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in another field with equivalent ECE coursework and preschool teaching experience.
- A passion for helping young children learn and thrive.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Positive relationships with children and families.
- Knowledge of Head Start standards or willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills.
