This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in dynamic environments where creativity, ownership, and technical excellence are expected—and rewarded.

Why You Should Consider This Role:

This isn’t your typical engineering job. You’ll be part of a team that takes ideas from whiteboard to real-world deployment. With a strong focus on problem-solving, autonomy, and continuous improvement, the company’s mission is centered around creating practical solutions that shape the future of manufacturing, processing, and automation.

If you love designing, building, and iterating on complex mechanical systems—this is your playground.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:

  • Take full lifecycle ownership of mechanical design projects—from concept through manufacturing handoff
  • Develop complete systems and subassemblies for next-gen commercial and pre-commercial products
  • Translate product requirements into mechanical solutions that balance form, function, and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, electrical, software, and operations
  • Conduct design reviews, generate technical documentation, and present findings to leadership
  • Leverage advanced CAD and simulation tools (Solid Works, FEA) to validate design decisions
  • Drive innovation by proposing new approaches and contributing to IP development

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and product development
  • Solid Works expert; experience with FEA tools (ANSYS preferred)
  • Proven ability to design for manufacturability in both prototyping and production environments
  • Strong project ownership, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • U.S. Citizen (required for access to certain projects/facilities)
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve and creativity is valued

Pay Range

$90,000 - $125,000 annually

Benefits That Matter to You:

  • Generous vacation and paid time off
  • Comprehensive medical, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with company contribution and profit-sharing potential
  • Relocation assistance to beautiful Southwest Montana
  • Work in a collaborative, engineering-first culture where your work has tangible, global impact

This is your chance to build real products, solve real problems, and grow your career in one of the most stunning regions in the country.

If you’re looking for purpose, challenge, and autonomy—this is it.
