Senior Mechanical Engineer - Butte, Montana
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion.
- Generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare design specifications, analyses, and make recommendations for presentation to management for approval.
- Lead mechanical design for a broad range of prototype, pre-commercial and new commercial products in an advanced product development environment, emphasizing quality for demanding industrial manufacturing businesses.
- Track record of solid technical leadership with preference for experience designing products for manufacture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, preferred (ABET accredited).
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design.
- Experience with Solid Works.
- Finite Element Analysis expertise.
- ANSYS experience required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work.
Salary Type: Annual Salary
Salary Min: $90,000
Salary Max: $130,000
