Senior Mechanical Engineer

Butte, MT | Full-Time
Salary : $107,500/Yearly

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design
• Demonstrated experience designing products from concept through full manufacturing release
• Advanced proficiency in Solid Works and CAD‑based mechanical design
• Strong background in design for manufacturing (DFM) and complex machinery design

• Own assigned projects from initial concept through final completion.
• Define project requirements to address product and process challenges while supporting new product and process development.
• Conduct technical investigations, develop design specifications, perform analyses, and present recommendations to management for approval.
• Lead mechanical design efforts for a wide range of prototype, pre‑commercial, and new commercial products in an advanced product development environment.
• Focus on delivering high‑quality products for demanding industrial manufacturing applications.
• Demonstrate strong technical leadership, with preference for experience in designing products specifically for manufacturability.
• Serve as an effective team leader and/or contributor on projects from inception to completion.
• Thrive in a diverse, fast‑paced, and technically challenging technology environment.
• Apply advanced machine and mechanical design expertise, including extensive product development and DFM experience.
• Design and prototype both pre‑commercial and complex commercial products.
• Develop and finalize product designs independently or as part of a cross‑functional team, as directed by management.

• Bachelor's or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET‑accredited preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in Solid Works
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) expertise, preferably using ANSYS
