Shift Type: Day shifts (Days) — exact start/end times to be confirmed; guaranteed 36 hours per week (may be scheduled up to 40 hours)

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility and independence
  • Assist with patient evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans with thoughtful, evidence-based techniques
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions as appropriate, and document outcomes accurately in the medical record
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and adaptive techniques to support long-term recovery
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain a safe, organized treatment area and ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience by communicating compassionately and professionally
Qualifications
  • Current Montana Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Associate degree or equivalent)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong clinical communication and documentation skills; patient-centered approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab environment and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
Education
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or graduation from an accredited PTA program
Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers and mobility techniques
  • Knowledge of patient safety, body mechanics and fall prevention strategies
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and electronic health record systems
  • Able to instruct and motivate patients and families with clear, positive communication
  • Skilled at adapting treatment plans to meet changing patient needs and goals
  • Basic understanding of common modalities and assistive devices used in outpatient/inpatient rehab
