For travel therapists, the program also offers placements across the U.S., delivering a curated mix of settings that challenge you and enrich your practice, all while maintaining strong, 24/7 support from a dedicated team.
You’ll have access to housing assistance or stipends designed to ease transition, and you’ll join a network of fellow clinicians who share resources, best practices, and encouragement as you advance in your specialty.
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and interpret results.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric and adult populations.
- Deliver direct therapy and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor swallowing safety and aspiration risk when needed.
- Document progress consistently in electronic medical records.
- Educate families and caregivers, advocate for AAC solutions when appropriate, and ensure adherence to facility policies and licensure requirements.
- Collaborate with mentors and peers to refine dysphagia management and augmentative communication strategies.
- Weekly pay of $1,994–$2,149 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
