Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Techat Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:

• Performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.
• Performing IV puncture, and administering radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.
• Preparing exam room, communicating with the patient, obtaining informed consent when necessary, and requesting an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.
• Receiving patients, explaining method of examination, and positioning patient.
• Selecting appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
• Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Shift: Part‑time (20 Hours), variable

Unit/

Location:

St. James Hospital, Butte, Montana

• Associate Degree or equivalent from two‑year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training.
• Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

• At least one (1) year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.

The hourly range for this position is $38.20 - $59.58, dependent upon experience.
