As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our local retail store, you will execute routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures. You will operate under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, and conduct inspections, cleaning, and repairs of facilities, equipment, or fixtures.

Salary
: $45,760 - $83,200

Sign-on bonus
: $2,000 (for select locations)

Individual compensation packages are based on factors including skill set, experience, level of offer, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Additional bonus may be available and disclosed during the interview process.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
• Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Must maintain an excellent driving record
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
