Opportunities for growth as a Locomotive Operator, Rail Switchman, Safety Specialist, Management.

Savage is seeking a Transload Operator whose primary responsibility is to safely and timely load rail cars from tank and trucks within the facility.

• Visually inspect rail cars
• Cross train and willingness to assist in the different functions performed at the facility
• Participate in and promote Savage safety program

• Basic industrial maintenance skills
• Attend and pass all training associated with job related coursework. This includes but is not limited to: OSHA, Haz Mat and FRA related courses.
• May require travel to other sites for job training
• Willingness to wear required PPEHolidays and weekends availability if needed
• Work experience in an industrial environment
• A high school diploma, or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and understand English

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable with heights
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work, walk, and stand on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time
