American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 1-2 years of ED nursing experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment with variable 12-hour shifts across day, mid, and night shifts
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic charting system
- Active RN license (MT or Compact) required
- BLS certification from American Heart Association required
- TNCC, PALS, and ACLS certifications required per manager
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- 1-2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Certifications must not expire prior to start date
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients
- Perform health teaching and counseling for patients and families
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
