American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department requiring at least 1 year of ED nursing experience and MT or compact RN licensure.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Variable 12-hour shifts including night, mid, and day shifts depending on placement
- 36 hours per week across 3 shifts per day
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active RN license (MT or compact) required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required per unit standards
- Certifications must not expire prior to start date and must be AHA-issued
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- 1-2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Perform independent nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Deliver health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
