Business Development Executive - Butte or Helena, MT

Lee Enterprises is seeking an energetic, skilled sales executive to drive digital multi‑media account growth for new and existing accounts through prospecting, developing, and closing leads using a variety of sources in Southwest Montana. This position will be based in Helena or Butte, MT. Lee offers a vast array of digital marketing products, tools and partners to meet the advertising needs of any current or future client.

This position is 100% outside sales.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect new clients and develop relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Develop and close leads using a variety of sales channels.
• Grow existing account revenue through cross‑selling and up‑selling digital advertising solutions.
• Track and report on sales metrics and forecast pipeline.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored advertising solutions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in digital advertising sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
• Proven experience expanding and growing sales revenue through existing and new business.
• Strong persuasion, problem‑solving, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Deep understanding of digital advertising and its platforms.
