Security Officer (Long Term Temp) - Full Time

Duration: 35 weeks, ending about mid‑February 2027.
Location: Butte, MT.
Wage: $22.00/hr.

Schedule: Rotating overtime every other Wednesday. Three 12‑hour shifts one week and four 12‑hour shifts the next week.

• Sunday – Tuesday: 6 AM – 6 PM
• Sunday – Tuesday: 6 PM – 6 AM
• Thursday – Saturday: 6 AM – 6 PM
• Thursday – Saturday: 6 PM – 6 AM

• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Perform access control duties and prevent trespassing.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above‑average computer/technology skills.
• Security, law‑enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Impeccable customer‑service and team‑leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
