Security Officer

Securitas is hiring Temp Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets for diverse client sites. In this role, you will monitor entrances, patrol facilities, observe and report safety or security concerns, and respond to incidents following company procedures. You will check IDs, control access, complete detailed reports, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. Officers support emergency responses, follow post orders, and use security technology as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points for assigned sites
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Observe, detect, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies per Securitas procedures
• Check identification, verify credentials, and enforce access control
• Provide professional customer service to visitors, staff, and clients
• Complete clear, accurate daily activity, incident, and shift reports
• Follow post orders, safety rules, and client-specific instructions
• Use radios, CCTV, and other security technology as required
• Collaborate with site supervisors, law enforcement, and emergency responders when needed
