Darling Ingredients is seeking a Mechanic 1 to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on trailers, diesel and gasoline powered equipment at our Mississippi operations. Night shift: 5pm–5am. This entry-level role develops core fleet maintenance skills under Mechanic 2 and Fleet Managers.
Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, oil changes, inspections, and assisting in diagnostics. Must have a valid driver's license and a basic tool set. Travel and safety training may be required.
