Job SummaryThe Finished Goods Clerk is responsible for pulling customer sales orders from finished goods inventory in a timely manner, ensuring all finished goods are stored in the proper inventory locations in the warehouse, and monitoring and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date inventory.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities- Put finished goods into inventory per assigned locations.
- Pull domestic, international, and subsidiary sales orders from inventory.
- Perform inventory transactions on the computer system.
- Maintain FIFO system in finished goods to ensure inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
- Transport finished goods between buildings.
- Answer telephone and email inquiries.
- Keep warehouse area clean, neat and organized.
- Perform other job‑related duties as requested by customers or management.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree in a related area preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in an administration function, preferably in inventory or sales‑related work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Strong mechanical and administrative abilities.
- Ability to lead and give direction.
- Ability to handle minor equipment or situational problems.
