Technical Event Coordinator
Coordinates, manages, and implements the technical requirements and resources of district facility events. Operate, maintain and safeguard the AV, lighting, and broadcast systems of the HS arena, pressbox and CFA stage. In conjunction with staff, determine the necessary technical support necessary for events (e.g. assemblies, performances, speakers, meetings). Work with students to educate them on the technical implementation of broadcasting equipment.
Be familiar with multiple computer environments. Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with teachers and staff. Work effectively to prioritize event venue setup in a timely manner. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Practice and exhibit quality workmanship, excellent work ethic and pride-in-ownership in the execution of all operating and maintenance duties including the proper care of all district property.
Maintain a clean and safe district vehicle. Assist in the organization and inventory of all related hardware and software resources. Maintain excellent communication with the Technology Director on all tasks and projects. Diagnose hardware and software problems of related systems, and replace defective components. Maintain communication with event coordinators. Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Director or Assistant Technology Director.

Configure and operate AV, broadcast, and live production equipment including but not limited to PTZ cameras, microphones, digital mixers, projectors, LED displays, lighting consoles, Stream Deck controllers, OBS workflows, and HDMI, SDI, XLR, DMX, CAT6, and fiber connections. Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Potential travel to off site district events or athletic activities for the purpose of broadcast. General knowledge of technology terminology General knowledge of computer systems and their inner workings. General knowledge of network systems. Ability to translate highly technical information to non-technical personnel. Ability to take a logical approach to problem solving. Ability to work in the structure of a team atmosphere.
Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed. Ability to organize and coordinate work and manage projects. Ability to communicate effectively with technology leadership and other district staff. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work. Ability to act accurately on directions given for solving problems.
Previous experience in technology.
