Our dairy cooperative is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) opening as a 2nd Shift (4:00 pm
-12:00 am) Sanitation Operator at our Cabot, VT location.
Agri-Mark / Cabot Creamery is seeking a full time Sanitation Operator to join our team in our Cabot, VT Facility. This individual is responsible for carrying out all operations that can include but not limited to ensuring the master sanitation program is completed in a timely manner, set up and breakdown of CIP systems, chemical storage and labeling, and making sure all safety policies are followed.
It is not uncommon for the employees to partially learn other areas of the plant if scheduling allows it. In areas such as the cheddar room the sanitation employees are also required to be able to assist in finishing and starting production for the day.
Qualified candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and to include but not limited to ability to foster and support a team environment.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift 70lbs.
- Frequent Stooping, Bending, Kneeling, walking and Crouching.
- Exposure to ingredient dust, high humidity, and extremes of hot and cold temperatures are possible.
Cabot Creamery offers a competitive salary, eligible for shift differentials – 7% for evenings and $1.00 / hour shift premium for weeknights and $4.00 / hour for weekends and comprehensive benefits package including 401k.
Salary starts at $22.99
