As a Production Operator in our Cheddar Room, Lower Plant, or Packaging department, you'll help produce the dairy products Cabot is known for.
Depending on the department, you may:
- Operate production and packaging equipment
- Make cheese and other dairy products
- Package products for shipment
- Clean and sanitize equipment
- Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Help ensure quality and keep production running smoothly
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse work, food production, dairy processing, construction, farming, machine operation, or general labor is helpful—but not required
.
This is an active, hands‑on job.
You'll need to be able to:
- Lift up to 70 pounds
- Stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Bend, kneel, crouch, walk, and move throughout the day
- Navigate stairs and ladders
- Work safely in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work in both hot and cold environments

Pay & Shift InformationFirst Shift
Starting pay for this position is $21.60 per hour
.
Agri-Mark also offers supplemental pay for eligible employees working second, third, and weekend shifts. This pay may be stacked but is not subject to overtime calculations.
Employees working between Friday at 11:00 PM and Sunday at 11:00 PM receive an additional $3.00 per hour
