Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wash Operator / Material Handler to support our production operations. This position is responsible for operating wash equipment, handling and moving materials throughout the facility, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor industrial wash equipment according to established procedures.
Load and unload materials into wash systems and processing equipment.
Inspect materials before and after washing to ensure quality requirements are met.
Safely move raw materials, finished products, containers, and other materials throughout the facility.
Use material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts as authorized.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance of wash equipment.
Report equipment problems, safety hazards, damaged materials, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Meet production schedules and established quality standards.
Work cooperatively with production, warehouse, and quality personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, material-handling, or machine-operation experience preferred.
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Willingness to work in a wet, industrial, or physically demanding environment.

Safety & Work Environment

This position requires working around industrial equipment, water and cleaning processes, and material-handling activities. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
Starting pay: $17.50 per hour
Full-time hours
Opportunities for overtime, as available
