3+ years combined law enforcement or military or security experience

Security experience - Must be 21+ years old

Weekly Pay

Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgement to address issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders to support a secure environment and facilitate appropriate response to incidents.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location while carrying authorized equipment in accordance with armed post requirements.
  • Follow all procedures related to the handling and storage of weapons as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Schedule
  • Job Schedule:

    Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
    Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Minimum Requirements
  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
