You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will bring integrity and a people-first mindset to every interaction while helping operations run smoothly across the property.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate for a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local first responders when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, reporting findings per post orders.

+ Control entry and exit points by monitoring authorized access, checking identification as required, and assisting with visitor management and/or way finding in coordination with facility policies.

+ Complete security-related reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and evidence of patrols, and communicate notable issues to supervisors and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.

+ Have an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
