The Logistics Executive is a full-time role responsible for coordinating and managing daily freight operations and customer shipments. This hybrid position is based in Cabot, AR, with the flexibility to perform some duties from home. Typical responsibilities include organizing and tracking shipments, liaising with carriers and customers, resolving delivery or service issues, and ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of goods. The role involves monitoring logistics performance, maintaining accurate documentation and system records, and supporting the optimization of supply chain processes.
The Logistics Executive will also collaborate with sales and operations teams to provide high-quality customer service and support business growth.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and client relationship management.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and professional phone and email etiquette.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills, such as shipment planning, carrier coordination, and documentation accuracy.
- Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management skills, including understanding of freight flows, scheduling, and cost-effective routing.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, such as basic account management, service promotion, and cross-functional collaboration with sales teams.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with transportation or TMS software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in freight brokerage, trucking, or transportation operations is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus.
