Pre-engineered Metal Building Site Superintendent

Clear Construction is a locally owned West Michigan construction management firm specializing in design-build and construction management. We’re seeking an experienced Pre-engineered Metal Building Site Superintendent to join our team and help lead high-quality commercial projects rooted in transparency, accountability, and long-term relationships.

The Site Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in the field, responsible for day-to-day jobsite operations from start to finish. This position goes beyond schedules and subcontractors—it’s about ownership, communication, and pride in delivering exceptional work.

You’ll ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards while representing Clear Construction’s values on every project.

• Develop, maintain, and actively manage project schedules
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities and sequencing
• Proactively identify and resolve potential delays
  
  Hold subcontractors accountable to timelines and commitments

• Ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and Clear Construction quality standards
• Conduct routine inspections and address deficiencies promptly
• Maintain clear documentation of progress and field conditions
• Deliver clean, organized, and professional jobsites

• Build strong, respectful relationships with trade partners and vendors
• Communicate expectations clearly and consistently
• Resolve issues professionally and constructively
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and partners
• Lead by example and set the tone for the project team
• Ensure Clear Construction’s mission and values are reflected throughout the project

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar field leadership role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, codes, and safety requirements
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Clear and confident communication and leadership abilities
• Experience with project management tools and technology (preferred, not required)
