Operations Manager, Manufacturing Engineer
Salary Range: $118,000 - $167,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation solutions.
- Manage engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and R&D to resolve technical issues and support new product introductions.
- Develop and manage the engineering departmental budget, resource allocation, and capital expenditure planning.
- Ensure all engineering activities and designs comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Define and implement engineering best practices and standard operating procedures across manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related technical field).
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) applied to manufacturing processes.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management for engineering initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, and relevant industry quality/safety standards.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT, AI, robotics)
- PMP or other relevant project management certification
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field
