Salary Range: $72,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develops and maintains electrical control systems, including PLCs and HMIs.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Implements and optimizes motor control systems and variable frequency drives.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E).
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
• Manages electrical projects from conception through completion, including budgeting and scheduling.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical) for schematic design and panel layout.
• Experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and automation.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
• Experience with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) and their electrical integration.
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical).
