Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize laser welding processes for new and existing products.
• Design and implement laser weld tooling and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot laser welding equipment and process issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for weld defects and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure weldability and manufacturability.
• Perform process validation and qualification activities.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation and work instructions.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Welding, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in laser welding processes and equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot laser welding parameters
• Strong understanding of metallurgical principles related to welding and material science
• Experience with CAD software and ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with quality control methods and inspection techniques for welds
