Lean Manufacturing Engineer | Cadillac, MI

Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations using Lean methodologies.
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to identify and eliminate waste.
• Develop and implement standardized work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Conduct value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and areas for process optimization.
• Mentor and train production teams on Lean principles and tools.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and optimize plant layouts and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean solutions and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, Flex Sim)
• Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI in manufacturing)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
