Licensed Cosmetologist - Contract Position (Cadillac, MI)

Join our EPIC team at Wexford Senior Care Center! We are looking for a licensed cosmetologist, beautician or stylist to provide personal pampering and attention to the well-being of our residents and guests. This person should be kind, compassionate, patient and eager to make a difference in our guests’ days by making them feel comfortable, confident and happy during their stay at our facility.

How you will help people:

• Provide professional and compassionate personal care such as hair styling, basic spa treatments and nail services to our guests.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in weekly interactions with our guests. Through kind words and encouragement, promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• Build & maintain guest relationships

• Contract based
• 1-2 days per week during typical salon hours

• A current and valid Michigan cosmetology license IS REQUIRED
• Proficient in styling diverse hair types, including those with ethnic backgrounds
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques
• Proficiency with equipment needed to perform technical work
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with guests
