Marine Travelift in Sturgeon Bay, WI is excited to be adding a full time Low Voltage Electrician to our first shift team. This position will be responsible for working in a manufacturing setting working on electrical projects related to custom engineered machines including large boat hoists and other lifting equipment for marine and industrial applications. This position works with engineers and wiring diagrams to assemble and wire the main control panel(s) for the different lines of machines that we manufacture, as well as connect all accessories and components to complete the finished product.
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-3:00PM;
Friday 6:00AM-12:00PM (1/2 day Fridays)
- Electrical knowledge, skills and related work experience in a manufacturing shop environment is required. Electrical degree, certification, or license is a plus
- Low voltage DC wiring experience is desired
- Able to troubleshoot electrical circuits desired
- Possess good mechanical skills and abilities
- Hydraulics experience and knowledge is desired
- Able to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
