Job Title: Children's Support Worker

Location: Caerleon, Newport, NP postcode area

Salary: £14.25 - £28.48 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

We are seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers for a leading social care provider in Caerleon, Newport. This role involves supporting children in their homes during waking night shifts, providing emotional and practical assistance to promote their independence and wellbeing.

• Supporting children and young people with their daily activities and interests
• Promoting independence and overall wellbeing of the young people
• Protecting children from risks to their health and welfare
• Providing emotional and practical support within the home environment
• Ensuring safety by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
• Managing challenging behaviour and helping to minimise incidents

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
• An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
• A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• The right to work in the UK
