Position: Casual Childcare Worker (Early Years)

Salary: Hourly rate: £13.90 - £14.82 | Grade 4

Role Overview

The Casual Childcare Worker will be required to cover a variety of venues within the Early Years Childcare settings and Mobile Creche Team.

We are currently looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Casual Childcare Worker to provide cover as and when required.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assisting the Childcare Supervisor in providing a high-quality childcare provision within this area.

Key Qualifications

The post holder must have a relevant qualification in Early Years/Childcare such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Welsh language skills are desirable for this post but not essential.

The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage, or the willingness to participate in the Welsh Government CAMAU programme - Welsh Language Learning for Childcare Early Years.

To apply you must have experience of working with children and an understanding of what is required to provide a high-quality learning environment for 0-5 year olds. Experience of Flying Start provision would be desirable.
