Join a busy night‑shift team near Caerphilly as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician. You’ll handle diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a varied HGV fleet using modern tooling—earning strong OTE with paid overtime and building your skills with ongoing training.

The role — HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Diagnose and repair mechanical & electrical faults on HGVs to DVSA/manufacturer standards
Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Use computer‑aided diagnostics (training provided) for accurate fault‑finding
Record work clearly to support shift handovers and compliance
Maintain high health & safety standards and a clean, efficient workshop
What you’ll bring

Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostics, electrical and mechanical repair skills
Solid knowledge of HGV servicing/repairs and DVSA regs
Safety‑first mindset and willingness to train on new technology
Nice to have

IMI / City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Main dealer or commercial fleet workshop experience
Class 1 (C+E) licence
Pay, hours & type

Basic salary: £44,(Apply online only)–£46,(Apply online only) (£21–£22 per hour)
OTE:
Up to £54,(Apply online only) with overtime at 1.5x

Nights, 22:00–06:00 (full‑time)
