FM Electrician - Commercial

Position: FM Electrician - Commercial Sector

Location: Kent, London & surrounding areas

Salary: £47,000 - £52,000 (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run electrical contractor that partners with leading FM companies across a variety of commercial sites. Known for their high standards of workmanship and strong client relationships, they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled and motivated Electrician.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing business that values quality, reliability, and teamwork.

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and remedial works across commercial properties
• Perform testing and inspection duties in line with current regulations and company standards
• Complete documentation including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works Certificates using company software
• Operate workforce management systems via mobile device
• Maintain high standards of timekeeping, communication, and customer service
• Work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours, weekend, and away-from-home assignments
• Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to completing scheduled works safely and efficiently

• Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial electrical work
• Minimum 3 years' experience in testing and inspection
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations
• Gold ECS Card
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
• Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check

• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, fault finding, and certification
• Comfortable using computers and mobile-based work management systems
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
