Fire Protection Door Installers / Carpenter Project Duration

3-year long-term project

Monday to Friday (Saturdays available)

Up to 60 hours per week

£26.00 per hour

Working hours:

8:00am - 6:00pm (10 hours per day)

• First flight paid by the client
• Shared accommodation provided (up to 6 people per house)

As a Passive Fire Door installer/carpenter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fire stopping works in line with industry standards:

• Installation of Fire Door Sets
• All aspects of fire door Carpenter
• Working in a team and also independently when required
• Liaise with management team on a daily basis
• Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings

• The NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on‑job experience
• Proven experience working as a Fire Door Installer
• Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector and a trade background experience would be useful
• Valid DBS check
• Proven experience as a Fire door installer ?2nd fix carpemter
• Relevant certification (e.g., FIRAS or equivalent) - preferred
• Willingness to relocate / work away from home
• Non-UK nationals must hold Settled or Pre-Settled Status
